The Viña Real Rioja Crianza is made from hand-picked Tempranillo (90%) grapes with a selection of Graciano, Mazuelo and Garnacha (10%) added to the final composition.
Tasting Notes: After malolactic fermentation has completed the wine is placed in a combination of French and American oak for 13-14 months. The Viña Real wines are modern in structure, balanced and elegant. The wine displays superb aromatic intensity with forest fruits such as blackberries and wild cranberries intermingled with black liquorice, vanilla and nutmeg from time spent in oak. The Viña Real Rioja Crianza is smooth and supple in the mouth with perfectly integrated oak, a rounded silky texture and smooth tannins.
Recommended food pairings: Great for tapas, hamburgers, stews, pork, lamb and chorizo.
