The wine has a more or less intense pink colour and a lively and evanescent foam.

Tasting Notes: Its pleasant aroma is rich in fruity hints; on the palate, it is dry or crisp, semi-dry or medium-dry and is pleasant, sweet, fresh and rich in flavour.

Recommended food pairings: Most important is the indigenous red Lambrusco, a family of grapes whose wines brilliantly complement flavorful dishes such as tagliatelle al ragù, tortellini al brodo, or simple antipasti of local meats and cheeses like prosciutto di Parma, mortadella, and parmigiano reggiano.
