Tasting Notes: On the nose clean aromas of black cherry, roasted bell pepper, a bouquet of both fresh (red rose, violets) and dried flowers, wood resins. On the palate vigorous tannins from the oak and a long finish of intense blackberry, refreshing blood orange and lingering vanilla.
Recommended food pairings: All barbecued meats, smoked hard cheeses.
